A Legacy of Excellence in Northwest Arkansas

Set amid the picturesque rolling hills of Rogers, Arkansas, Pinnacle Country Club’s storied history began as pristine farmland—an untouched landscape that would soon become one of the most distinguished private golf destinations in Northwest Arkansas. In 1988, a visionary group of developers and local golf enthusiasts, led by Berky Resources Corporation and including the late James T. “Red” Hudson of Hudson Foods, set out to create a premier private golf course and gated community unlike any other in the region. Their vision gave rise to what was originally known as Champions Golf & Country Club, laying the foundation for today’s Pinnacle Country Club.

Championship Golf Designed by Legends

The Pinnacle Country Club golf course was originally designed by renowned architect Don Sechrest, with consultation from PGA TOUR legend Bruce Lietzke. When the course opened in 1990, it quickly earned recognition as one of the finest private golf courses in Arkansas. In 2009, the course was thoughtfully redesigned by acclaimed golf course architect Randy Heckenkemper, further elevating its playability, beauty, and championship pedigree while preserving the natural elegance of the Ozark landscape.

A World-Class Venue for Elite Competition

Over the years, Pinnacle Country Club has solidified its reputation as a world-class championship golf venue. The meticulously maintained course has hosted numerous prestigious tournaments, including the Greg Norman Challenge and the Phillips Classic. Today, Pinnacle proudly serves as the annual host of the LPGA NW Arkansas Championship, welcoming the world’s top female professional golfers and showcasing Northwest Arkansas on an international stage.

A Destination for Distinguished Guests

Pinnacle Country Club’s legacy extends beyond the fairways. The club has welcomed an extraordinary array of distinguished guests from the worlds of politics, sports, and entertainment, including First Lady Laura Bush; President Bill Clinton; John Daly, Greg Norman; Larry Bird; Wayne Gretzky; Glen Campbell; Dan Marino; Adam Sandler; Morgan Freeman; Joe Montana; Jerry Rice; Herm Edwards, Kid Rock, Darius Rucker, Lady A; Paula Abdul; members of the Banana Ball League and many of the LPGA’s most celebrated players, such as Nelly Korda, Maria Fassi, Lydia Ko, and Stacy Lewis.

Privately Owned. Thoughtfully Curated.

Today, Pinnacle Country Club remains family-owned and operated by the Hudson family, with Mike Hudson serving as President. This stewardship ensures a continued commitment to excellence, tradition, and personalized service—hallmarks that define Pinnacle as one of the most exclusive private country clubs in Rogers, Arkansas, and the greater Northwest Arkansas region.

Pinnacle Country Club is more than a golf course—it is a refined lifestyle destination where history, luxury, and championship golf converge.
